FUN EVENT
1) GEC Counter Strike
I’m sure looking at the name you might be thinking this is just another counter strike competition. But it’s not what you’re thinking. At Torque, MESA brings to you counter strike in real life, where instead of bots, you will be running around the map along with your team.
It will be played on similar basis as Counter-strike but with bullets and bombs replaced by water balloons. So get ready to get wet..!!! Participants are requested to carry additional clothing.
Mission:
2 teams – 5 members
Terrorist – Keep the explosives in your possession
Counter Terrorist – Retrieve the explosives bag

The Game:
CT & T teams to be decided on toss. Initially both teams will be given 10 balloons each. While the game is going on additional balloons if required will be charged at 2 balloons/Rs5
Time limit – 5 min.

Rules:
1) Whichever team has the explosives bag at the end of the play is declared the winner.
2) If all the members of a team are eliminated before the end of play then the other team wins.
3) A person is eliminated (dead) if he/she is hit by a water balloon and gets wet.
4) Whoever has the explosives bag has to roam around with it, he/she can pass it to another person of the team but has to hand it over and cannot throw it. In this case the next person has to roam around with it.
5) In case the person carrying the bag is eliminated, he/she should immediately drop the bag on the ground and leave the arena.
6) Organisers’ decision will be final and binding.

2) LOGORYO
Description
It is Goa’s ancestral game included in TORQUE’11.
LOGORYO is a team event in which each team has to defeat the opposing team for victory. Many of us might have played this game in our childhood, and this event will ensure that we relieve those golden days and it turns out to be one of the most fun-filled events.
How to play
Two teams will play at a time. Each team will have four members. Each player of the team will get one chances in a set to hit the tower of tiles. The first round in total will be consisting of overall three sets. The team which wins two out of three sets will be declared as the winner.
§ One player of the team has to hit the tower of the tiles.
§ If he misses the tower and the bowl is caught by the player of the other team on one bounce than the first team loses the set.
§ If the player of the first team hits the tower and if the ball is caught directly by the members of the other team without any bounce than the first team loses the set.
§ If the player of the first team hits the tower and if it bounces, than the players of the other team has to collect the ball and throw it on players of the first team, while the members of the first team should arrange the tower of the tiles.
§ If the ball hits the players of the first team before they are able to arrange the tower of the tiles than the first team loses the set.
§ If the ball hits the players of the first team after they arrange the tower of the tiles than the other team loses the set.
§ Whichever team wins two sets out of three wins the round. The loosing team in the first round is knocked out of the competition.
Organizer decision is final in all the cases.

3) FLASH GAMES
Description
Flash games will be spot events going on along-side the main events on site and consist of two games, Bug-on-wire & Penguin shootout. Both the games will be held along with the main events of robowar and roborace on the happenings ground. There will be three centres on the happenings ground where the interested people can register, and play. The winners will get prizes worth Rs. 250/- for each game.
Winner for Bug-on-wire will be decided depending upon the time for which the player can keep his bug on the wire. The player who keeps for maximum time will win. Sounds simple enough eh ???? but it’s not..!!! Our experts have managed just 1 and a half minute max..!!!! So can you beat that ??
Most of you are ace shooters with the help of a mouse. But can u do it on a laptop track pad??? Not so easy nah?? So a simple game to test if you got what it takes.
Winner for Penguin shootout will be decided based on the score which depends on the number of penguin shot down. The player having the highest score wins.

3) SLOW BIKING:
Slow and steady definitely wins the race here.
Ride your bike the slowest, without crossing your lane and touching your feet to the ground.
The bike that finishes last or the one left after all others are eliminated wins.
The choice of bike is left to the participants. Both geared and non-geared bikes are allowed.

4) GEC’S MINUTE TO WIN IT:

6) PENALTY SHOOTOUT:
Test your football kicking skills. Kick the ball into the goal directly or on one bounce. But of course the goal is not going to the standard size.
